About Us
A Telecom and Cloud Communications Agent in Red Bank, New Jersey
What a telecom agent actually does, how we are paid, and where our scope ends.
What is a telecom agent, and how is it different from buying directly from a carrier?
A telecom agent is an independent intermediary who sources communications services across multiple carriers on a business’s behalf, rather than selling one network’s products. The agent compares carriers against a specific requirement, negotiates pricing, coordinates installation, and handles support escalation and renewals afterwards — while the contract and the bill sit with the carrier the business chooses. A carrier’s direct sales representative can only sell that carrier’s network, and their involvement typically ends when the order is placed. New Vision Technology Group (NVTGI) is a telecom and cloud communications agent based in Red Bank, New Jersey.
What we do
New Vision Technology Group (NVTGI) is a telecom and cloud communications agent based at 331 Newman Springs Road in Red Bank, New Jersey. We help businesses across the state choose, buy and manage their phone systems, internet service, email hosting and video conferencing.
We are a sales agent for major business internet and phone carriers, which is the substantive difference between us and a carrier representative: a rep can only sell one network, while we source across several. We help clients find the right voice or data solution at a fair price, and we stay involved afterwards — for support escalation, billing disputes and the next renewal.
How we are paid, stated plainly
Carriers compensate agents from the budget that would otherwise fund their own sales teams — typically a revenue share in the region of 10 to 20 percent of what a client spends. The client pays the same rates they would pay going direct.
We state this openly because the alternative is that you wonder. A model that only works when the client does not understand it is not a model worth defending.
How we answer the obvious question
If carriers pay us, how do you know we are not steering you to whoever pays most?
Commission rates are broadly comparable across the carriers we represent. We carry no volume quotas with any of them. We present several carriers’ pricing side by side and you choose. And if you want to know what we earn on a particular deal, ask — we will tell you.
Why no quotas matter
We carry no volume commitments with any provider. That means there is no carrier we need to place business with this quarter, and no product we are behind on. Recommendations follow from the requirement rather than from a target.
“One-size-fits-all” is not in our vocabulary. We customize the plan by recommending the providers and services that give the best result functionally and financially.
What we are not
• Not a carrier. We do not own fiber, operate switches, or run a network.
• Not a reseller. We do not sell carrier services under our own brand — your contract is with the provider.
• Not a managed IT provider. We do not run helpdesks, manage workstations or servers, or provide security operations. Where a business has an IT provider, we work alongside them.
Being specific about this is deliberate. A business that needs an MSP and calls us has wasted its time and ours.
Our values
We work only with dependable providers who serve our clients with reliable service. We create solutions that optimize communications while accommodating the budget. We serve as a trusted partner and honest advisor, looking out for our clients’ interests at all times and under all circumstances.
